Who we are

What we collect

When you request a security plan or site survey we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, property type and the services you're interested in, plus the page you enquired from and how you found us. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser) for security.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quote and — if you become a customer — deliver and support your system. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Who we share it with

Our CRM and email providers, and trusted installers working on our behalf. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become customers: 12 months. Customer records: for the life of the system plus 6 years for warranty and legal purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing info@securemyproperty.co.uk. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
